Pedestrian Killed in Desert Hot Springs Crash at Langlois and Dillon Roads
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (September 8, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash at Langlois Road and Dillon Road in Desert Hot Springs.
According to the KESQ News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Wednesday night. Officers reported the incident shortly after 8:05 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said a vehicle struck the pedestrian in Desert Hot Springs. The driver hit the person for an unknown reason at the intersection of Langois Road and Dillon Road.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision. They soon pronounced the person dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim.
Officers forced the area of Langois and Dillon to shut down for hours following the collision. The cause of the fatal Desert Hot Springs pedestrian accident is still under investigation.
