Semi-Truck, Car Crash at Desert Hot Springs Intersection
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (May 27, 2020) — Two people were trapped in a car early Wednesday morning after a collision with a semi-truck in Desert Hot Springs.
The traffic accident was reported at 12:50 a.m. at Indian Canyon Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. Firefighters who responded to the scene extricated the driver and passenger who were in the car.
The two victims were transported by ground ambulances to a hospital for further treatment. One suffered serious injuries and the other had moderate injuries, the fire department said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
