According to ABC7 News, the female pedestrian was struck in the 27500 block of the highway at about 8:30 p.m.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the suspect driver is thought to be a Hispanic male with a mustache, a goatee and wearing a flannel shirt. The teenager who died may have been homeless and the location of the crash was near an apartment building where police are hoping someone saw what happened. There may also bee surveillance video available.
Further investigation is underway.
