Man, 25, Struck and Killed on Interstate 10 Freeway
REDLANDS, Calif. (June 21, 2023) — Deven Rico, 25, of San Bernardino, died Friday night in a pedestrian accident on the Interstate 10 Freeway at Alabama Street in Redlands.
The collision occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Friday, June 16th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The California Highway Patrol sent officers to the scene on the westbound I-10 Freeway and located the victim in the roadway.
Paramedics were also at the scene and pronounced Deven Rico deceased at 9:53 p.m., the report said. It’s unknown if the driver involved stopped after the crash.
Witnesses may contact the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino station. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
