Multi-Vehicle Freeway Accident at EB SR-60-NB SR-57

DIAMOND BAR, Calif., (April 28, 2026) — A major traffic collision involving multiple vehicles, including a big rig and several sedans, happened Monday in Diamond Bar at the eastbound Pomona 60 Freeway transition to the northbound SR-57.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:59 p.m. on April 27th, 2026. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash involved a silver Toyota Highlander, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a big rig truck, and several other vehicles, including a white sedan and a gray sedan. Airbags were reportedly deployed in at least some of the vehicles involved.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the collision was reported. The crash initially blocked two lanes, necessitating a SigAlert and the closure of the transition road for an extended period. Tow services were requested to clear the damaged vehicles, including those with major front and rear-end damage.
