Diana Mellott Found Lifeless at Scene
CORONA, California (September 4, 2016) – A 33-year-old woman identified as Diana Mellott, 33, of Riverside suffered fatal injured as a result of being hit by a vehicle on Sixth Street near El Camino Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The accident occurred on September 4, Sunday.
According to ABC News, a female pedestrian was walking at the area around 3:00 a.m. Then suddenly, a passing vehicle hit the woman and left her laying on the road. Responding paramedics located the woman lifeless at the scene. In detail, the authorities affirmed a surveillance video from the area showed the woman has been struck by a light-colored sedan traveling eastbound on Sixth.
Officers ruled the incident as a fatal hit-and-run crash.
The investigation by police is ongoing.
