Man Struck, Killed on South H Street Identified
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (April 6, 2023) — Diego Samaniego, 24, of Bakersfield, was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident last Friday on South H Street in Bakersfield.
The fatal crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. on March 31st, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
The man was reportedly struck by a vehicle due to unknown circumstances, just south of Hosking Avenue, the report said.
The coroner later identified the victim as Diego Samaniego.
The cause of the crash and liability remains under investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department.
