Pedestrian Diego Tzoy-Lux Killed in Hayward Crash Near Hesperian and Panama
HAYWARD, CA (January 13, 2022) – A pedestrian crash killed Diego Tzoy-Lux near Hesperian Boulevard and Panama Street in Hayward.
Police identified the 21-year-old San Mateo man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place last week.
Hayward police said a vehicle struck Diego Tzoy-Lux for an unknown reason in the city on Thursday morning. The driver hit him near the intersection of Hesperian Boulevard and Panama Street.

Diego Tzoy-Lux sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found him lying on the ground.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the man dead at the scene. The East Bay Times wrote that the incident happened on January 6 shortly before 6:15 a.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. The cause of the Hayward pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
