Pedestrian Killed in Dinuba Accident Near Road 80 and Avenue 400
DINUBA, CA (May 4, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident near Road 80 and Avenue 400 in Dinuba.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic collision occurred on Tuesday night. Officers reported the crash at about 8:52 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason near the Dinuba Fire station. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Road 80 and Avenue 400.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the crash site after hitting the person.
They then forced the intersection of Road 80 and Avenue 400 to shut down for a time following the collision. The cause of the fatal Dinuba pedestrian accident is still under investigation.
