1 Critically Injured, 3-Vehicle Discovery Bay Crash
DISCOVERY BAY, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2018) — At least two people were hurt in a 3-vehicle collision Tuesday night on Highway 4, just east of the southbound Byron Highway connector.
The head-on crash took place about 7 p.m. between a white Mercedes sedan, a dark grey SUV and a Toyota Camry.
One person was airlifted by medical helicopter to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and another suffered chest and stomach pain. Five were treated at the scene by arriving firefighters from the East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

Discovery Bay Accident Investigation
Police are reviewing all the evidence and will determine fault among the drivers.
