Major Injury Collision on Interstate 80 Freeway Friday
Dixon, CA (April 23, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider Friday evening on Interstate 80, also known as Dwight Eisenhower Highway, in Dixon.
Initial records indicated the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the westbound side of I-80 near the Kidwell Road onramp.

When emergency teams arrived at the crash site, they found the rider pinned underneath the Audi. Responding firefighters worked extensively to extricate the victim from below the front-end of the car.
The CHP dispatch later confirmed the motorcyclist suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the injured party and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been revealed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
