Traffic Collision Kills Dolores Palmerin on Big Tujunga Canyon Road Friday
Altadena, CA (April 17, 2021) – 46-year-old Dolores Palmerin died, and three other people suffered injuries following a car crash on Big Tujunga Canyon Road, the NBC Los Angeles reported.
On April 16, Friday, a 2000 Nissan Frontier with multiple occupants crashed in the Angeles National Forest. Officials said the pickup veered off the roadway; then flew approximately 250 feet off a cliff along Big Tujunga Canyon Road.
The catastrophic incident happened around 6:45 p.m.
Responding emergency teams reportedly found a female passenger unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to Dolores Palmerin, of Santa Barbara, bus she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.

Authorities added medical personnel rendered aid to three victims at the crash site. Shortly after, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter airlifted all three injured parties to County-USC Medical Center for treatment. Officials briefly described the patients as a 27-year-old female driver, a 56-year-old woman, and a 1-year-old girl.
The precise cause of the deadly car crash in Altadena remained under investigation.
