1 Seriously Injured in Dos Palos Crash at Highway 33 and Merrill Avenue
DOS PALOS, CA (April 6, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Highway 33 and Merrill Avenue in Dos Palos.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident late Monday afternoon, April 5. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:19 p.m.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 33 and Merrill Avenue in Dos Palos.
Car Collision Near Folsom Avenue Monday
CHP described the cars involved as a gray Honda and a gray colored Toyota. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Folsom Avenue.
They found an occupant bleeding from the face as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took one patient to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, officials shut down the roadway following the Dos Palos crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
