Motorcyclist Doug Stanley and Son Jett Stanley Seriously Injured in Auburn DUI Crash
AUBURN (September 11, 2019) – A father and his child were seriously injured after an alleged DUI crash along Lincoln Way on Monday afternoon.
The victims, Doug Stanley and his 10-year-old son, Jett Stanley, were involved in the tragic accident which took place on September 9 at around 4 p.m.
According to an article published by FOX 40 News, Doug Stanley was riding a motorcycle with his son when they were struck by a car.
The driver, Matthew Griswold, allegedly crossed the double yellow lines into the path of the riders and hit them head-on. The boy was thrown from the bike upon impact and was knocked unconscious.

Both Doug and Jett Stanley were rushed to the hospital where the juvenile was treated for a broken leg and some scrapes.
However, the man was listed in critical condition. He suffered a massive abdominal laceration, fractured vertebrae, and open book pelvic fracture which is considered as a he has a life-threatening injury.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help with the medical expenses of the Doug and Jett Stanley.
Meanwhile, police arrested Griswold who was believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol when the collision occurred.
