Douglas Einarson, 73, Injured in Fresno County Accident on 5 Freeway
FRESNO COUNTY (December 28, 2017) – 73-year-old Douglas Einarson was injured in a traffic collision involving a big rig on the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to ABC News.
The accident was reported on Wednesday at 4:59 p.m.
As per the article, Einarson was heading north on the freeway when for unknown reasons a rig rammed into car. The impact then pushed Einarson forward, and the big rig reportedly struck two more trucks on the interstate.
Einarson narrated that he was briefly trapped but managed to self-extricate following the wreck. Responding paramedics rendered aid to Einarson who appeared to have suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, no details were disclosed on the identity and condition of the involved rig operator.
At this time, investigators are still working on determining the precise circumstances that led to the collision.
