Douglas Richards Jr., 19, Fatal Victim in Collision Near Cajalco Road Saturday
Corona, CA (June 5, 2021) – Douglas Richards Jr., a 19-year-old man, died following a car crash on Interstate 15 in Corona Saturday morning.
According to My News LA, Douglas Richards Jr. was traveling on a white pickup heading south on 15 Freeway. When the pickup approached the area near Cajalco Road, it veered off the roadway and rolled over multiple times.
Deadly Car Accident in Corona, June 5
Rescue teams found the pickup overturned off the freeway in Corona. Officials said first responders also located a body on the right side of the interstate. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Douglas Richards Jr., of Oceanside.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car crash in Corona.
