At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Century Freeway Saturday
Downey, CA (October 9, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 105, also known as Century Freeway, Saturday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the freeway in Downey. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a white Honda Accord.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was revealed on the second car involved in the accident. The other driver apparently fled the scene before police arrived.
The CHP logged the incident around 7:20 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Authorities later confirmed a juvenile suffered injuries as a result of the. The name and age of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the identity and location of the suspect in the hit-and-run crash in Downey.
