LLANO, Calif. (June 29, 2018) — A 10-year-old boy identified as Dravin Redman died Thursday night in a collision in the 30000 to 30042 block of Valyermo Road, at Pallet Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 911 report made at 11:46 p.m. stated that one person was unresponsive in a 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and that all parties were out of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Kevin Redman of Llano, was subsequently arrested. There were a total of three juvenile passengers in the truck at the time of the crash. The two other children, a 5-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, suffered moderate injuries and were hospitalized.
Police are investigating the crash of the crash. The initial findings are that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He reportedly failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control of the pickup.

At this time, it appears that the driver is going to be held liable for the death of this boy and injuries to two other children.
