Alleged DUI Collision in Duarte Leaves Injury on West 210 Freeway
DUARTE, California (May 8, 2016) – Injuries were reported following an alleged DUI crash on westbound 210 Freeway Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 3:11 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that authorities responded to an emergency calling for aid near Buena Vista Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located a Nissan X-Trail and a black Jeep involved in a wreck.
The force from the impact resulted in at least one person injured as medical personnel were on the way to the site, as noted in the incident description by the CHP team.
Initial investigation pointed to the Nissan driver witnessed recklessly driving just before the smash. Its driver was allegedly intoxicated during the collision.
Reporting parties also claimed that a female motorist was seen to have self-extricated and fled on foot. But no further information was provided on the matter.
