Person Killed in Traffic Crash on Foothill (210) Freeway in Duarte Area
DUARTE, Calif. (April 5, 2021) – A Duarte fatal car crash left one person dead after two vehicles collided on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway.
The crash happened about 5 a.m. near Mountain Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There were few details provided in the CHP report about the Duarte fatal car crash. The collision involved the drivers of a small car and a truck. One person died, but it’s unknown if anyone else got injured.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identify the victim on their website. However, the name will be released after family members are notified.
Meanwhile, the circumstances leading up to the fatal Duarte crash remain under investigation.
Finally, CHP officers ask witnesses to contact them as they piece together what happened.
