Man, Officer Struck by Vehicle in Duarte
DUARTE, Calif. (June 28, 2021) — A Duarte pedestrian accident happened Saturday night at Huntington Drive and Las Lomas Road.
The collision happened about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 26th, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Additionally, the man struck by a vehicle suffered serious injuries in the collision. Paramedics transported the man to a trauma center.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.

Additionally, an Irwindale police sergeant helping to redirect traffic at the intersection suffered minor injuries when they were hit by a separate vehicle.
Two ambulances responded to the scene and one transported the man from the initial crash to a trauma center. The second ambulance transported the officer to a hospital, police said.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Huntington Drive pedestrian accident as well as liability.
