DUBLIN, California (June 4, 2014) — Two drivers collided Wednesday morning in a crash on the westbound Interstate 580 and the northbound Interstate 680 freeways, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5:14 a.m., CHP officers responded to the Dublin car accident involving a brown Honda sedan and a black Toyota Prius compact car that was blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes. The Honda was reportedly swerving in and out of lanes prior to the traffic collision, CHP said. Police called AAA for a tow truck for the Toyota Prius as it suffered moderate rear-end damage in the crash.
Police are investigating the Dublin car accident to determine who was liable.
“Liability will be determined following the police investigation, said Attorney James Johnson. “Those injured in a crash such as this one should seek immediate medical attention to ensure a complete recovery.”
