Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Interstate 680 Near Bollinger Canyon Road Monday
Dublin, CA (August 30, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred early Monday on Interstate 680, also known as Donald Doyle Highway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a vehicle struck an individual in the southbound side of the freeway. The collision took place near Bollinger Canyon Road in Dublin. Officials mentioned the crash involving a white Buick Enclave.
The CHP logged the incident around 12:55 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a woman lying on the ground. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but she sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident in Dublin happened.
