Dublin crash 580 FreewayDUBLIN, California (June 20, 2017) – A driver suffered a serious head injury Tuesday morning after a collision between their white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a white box truck on the eastbound Interstate 580 Freeway , a California Highway Patrol report said.

The crash took place about 7:21 a.m. this morning. The driver of the SUV, who is a visitor from Australia,  told authorities he was lost. Firefighters closed down the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes to help the injured driver who was laying on the ground with complaints of pain and a head injury, but never lost consciousness.

The CHP is heading up an investigation into the accident to determine liability. It’s important that all parties involved hire an attorney to conduct an independent investigation to confirm liability or risk being blamed for a collision that may not have been their fault.
