Police said the car slammed into a Dodge Ram fire command vehicle and then backed up. The pickup struck the parked vehicles and the people in the area.
The truck hit at least three people, including a firefighter and a spectator. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics took the firefighter to Natividad Trauma Center in Salinas for treatment. Officials did not disclose the names of the two wounded patients and their condition at this time.
