VALLEJO, California (June 20 2016) – Several people suffered injuries as a result of a DUI crash at Broadway Street and Mini Drive, according to an article by Times Herald.
The accident happened on June 19 just before 9:00 p.m.
Consequently, the article identified 36-year-old Jose Morales, of Vallejo, as the alleged drunk driver that caused injuries. Morales was traveling near the intersection when he suddenly crashed into several cars. The force from the impact resulted in multiple injuries at the site.
Officers are still determining the number of injured parties. Names of the victims are withheld as coroners continue to notify their next of kin.
Morales was booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, causing injury and probation violation.
