Major Injury Collision Near Yolo Rest Area Offramp
Dunnigan, CA (October 15, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Friday evening.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5 in Dunnigan
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a black sedan on I-5 near the Yolo Rest Area offramp.
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 6:04 p.m. Officials mentioned the accident resulted in significant damage to both the motorbike and the sedan.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. Authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Local police, and other officers stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Interstate 5 near Yolo Rest Area.
