Multi-Vehicle Accident Highway 99, One Car Ran Head on into Pole
Durham, Calif. (July 12, 2023) — A car accident happened in Durham Wednesday afternoon on State Route Highway 99, near Neal Road.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of SR-99 about 1:05 p.m. on July 12th, in Butte County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A silver Ford sedan and a red Hyundai crashed into one another in the middle of Highway 99. One vehicle ran into a pole and the other became a traffic hazard in the center divide. Meanwhile the fire department in the area was called and arrived on scene.
In addition, paramedics were called to help those injured in the collision. Two more cars were involved in the accident including a Kia Optima and a Toyota Corolla. The latter experienced major damages from the crash.
Tow trucks were also called on the scene to remove damaged cars. To end, investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the Durham accident on Highway 99.
