Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Durham Crash on Southbound Highway 99 Near Durham
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (April 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 99 near Durham.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 11:13 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a car side-swiped the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. They collided on southbound Highway 99 near Durham-Pentz Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Enloe Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the other vehicle ended up unharmed upon impact. Officers forced the southbound lanes of the highway to close following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
