Dylan Jolly, 18, Killed in 5 Freeway Crash Near Cannon Road

CARLSBAD (November 22, 2017) – On November 17, Friday, 18-year-old Dylan Jolly was killed in a motorcycle accident on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Cannon Road.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Menifee resident was on a Harley Davidson Sportster going north on the freeway when he collided with a vehicle in the fast lane. The impact then caused Jolly to rear-end another car and a semi-truck in the right-hand side of the road.

The 6:15 p.m. collision caused serious injuries to Jolly, who sadly died before being taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was disclosed on the identities and conditions of the other motorists involved.

Investigators are determining what exactly happened in the deadly crash but no further information has been released thus far.
