Survey Worker Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Senilis Avenue
Morongo Valley, CA (May 17, 2022) – Dylan Motte, a 25-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 62 Monday afternoon.
The Desert Sun News reported Motte was standing next to his work truck. According to the article published online, a westbound Ford F-150 careened towards the center median for an unknown reason. The Ford F-150 ended up hitting the 25-year-old survey worker standing along the highway near Senilis Avenue.
Dylan Motte Dies at Hospital After Accident on Highway 62 in Morongo Valley
Shortly after the incident, rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found found Motte with serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the patient to Desert Regional Medical Center. At approximately 9:15 p.m., the man sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Riverside County Coroner’s office confirmed the identity of the fatal victim as Dylan Motte.
The driver, and passenger in the F-150 both sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics also transported the two parties to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident on Highway 62 in Morono Valley.
