E-Bike Accident in Long Beach at Willow Street and Chestnut Avenue

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2026) – A minor riding an e-bike was injured Thursday night in Long Beach when he was struck by a vehicle riding at Willow Street and Chestnut Avenue.

Paramedics responded and rushed the injured minor with visible cuts on his face to a hospital in a stable condition following the crash around 8:16 p.m. on Sept. 24th, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Meanwhile, the electric bicycle was damaged and on the ground following the crash and the driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with detectives. There were no arrests made and the driver was cleared for impaired driving at the scene.

The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
