E-Bike Rider Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Warner Avenue, Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (August 11, 2026) — A hit-and-run driver struck a person riding an electric bicycle Monday night at Warner Avenue and Raitt Street in Santa Ana.
The e-bike rider was seriously injured when the motorist allegedly ran a stop sign, struck the cyclist, and fled the scene, the Santa Ana Police Department reports.
The traffic accident happend around 10:19 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, at the Santa Ana intersection.
The driver of the involved vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and then hit the e-bike rider.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured e-bike rider to a local hospital in serious condition.
Finally, the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by the Santa Ana Police Department. There is no immediate information about the suspect or vehicle involved.
