Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Earlimart Hit-and-Run Near Road 144 and Avenue 40
EARLIMART, CA (May 6, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash near Road 144 and Avenue 40 seriously injured a motorcyclist in Earlimart.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:12 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck a male motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The two crashed near the intersection of Road 144 and Avenue 40.
Motorcycle Rider Hit by Vehicle Near Elementary School
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the Earlimart Elementary School. They found the motorcyclist left suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver involved did not render aid to the rider and soon fled the area. Officials forced the roadway to shut down following the Earlimart hit-and-run crash.
Authorities are still searching for the motorist.
