Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Ashby Avenue and Seventh Street Wednesday
East Bay, CA (November 17, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 80 Freeway Wednesday evening.
The East Bay Times News reported a vehicle struck an individual in the eastbound side of I-80 in East Bay. Officials mentioned the horrible crash took place in the area near Ashby Avenue and Seventh Street.

According to the article published online, the collision happened shortly before 6:20 p.m. Responding emergency teams reportedly rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and died.
