At Least 1 Killed in Collision in Santa Ysabel Thursday
East County, CA (January 13, 2022) – A deadly car accident occurred Thursday on State Route 78, the FOX5 News reported.
Our sources indicated a traffic collision took place near State Route 79 in the Santa Ysabel community. At this time, the exact number of cars involved in the wreck and their description remained unknown.
Shortly after 3 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. First responders found at least one person with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal car crash on State Route 78 in East County.
