1 Seriously Injured in East Los Angeles Crash on 60 Freeway and 710 Freeway Transition
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 5, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured in East Los Angeles crash on the 60 Freeway and 710 Freeway interchange.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch said the wreck took place on Friday night. Officers reported the accident at about 8:25 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in East Los Angeles. They crashed on the westbound 60 Freeway to the southbound 710 Freeway transition.
2 Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved, a white Honda Civic, rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officers did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the 60 Freeway and 710 Freeway interchange to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the East Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
