East Los Angeles hit-and-run Hubbard
1 Injured in East Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash Near Hubbard and Clela
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 17, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person near Hubbard Street and Clela Avenue in East Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:14 p.m.
According to CHP, a driver struck multiple vehicles in the East Los Angeles area. The incident happened near the intersection of Hubbard Street and Clela Avenue.
The report log described one of the cars involved as a tan Toyota Tacoma. The Toyota obtained major front-end damage due to the impact.
Driver Hits Multiple Cars, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Atlantic Boulevard. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist who caused the wreck did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced Hubbard Street to shut down near Atlantic and Clela following the wreck.
The East Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
