Motorcyclist Injured in East Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Olympic and Server
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (February 25, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a motorcyclist at Olympic Boulevard and Server Avenue in East Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident occurred on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck on February 22 at about 6:20 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The driver hit the victim at the intersection of East Olympic Boulevard and Server Avenue.
Motorcycle Rider Hit by Vehicle Near 710 Freeway
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the 710 Freeway. They found the motorcyclist left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim at the site. The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Witnesses last saw the suspect running across westbound lanes under the 710 Freeway and soon hopped over the eastbound side.
Officers forced the eastbound lanes of Olympic and Server to close following the East Los Angeles hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still searching for the motorist.
