Eddie Nishimoto Killed in Wallace Motorcycle Crash

Fatal Traffic Collision on Southworth Road

Wallace, CA (April 20, 2023)Eddie Nishimoto, a 66-year-old man from Lodi, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred on Southworth Road evening of Sunday, April 9.

My Motherlode News published an article online reporting Nishimoto was riding a motorcycle traveling on Southworth Road around 6 p.m. In the area near Highway 12, Nishimoto collided with another person riding a motorcycle. The force from the impact caused both motorcyclists to veer off the roadway and crashed into a field. Authorities added both riders hit two barbed wire fences in the area.

Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Wallace

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found one motorcyclist unconscious. Responding paramedics performed life-saving efforts to the man but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The San Andreas Unit of the CHP later identified the deceased as Eddie Nishimoto.

Meanwhile, the other motorcyclist reportedly sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a nearby trauma center. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal collision that happened on Southworth Road in Wallace.
