Weldon Man, 74, Identified as Victim of Car Accident
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2025) — Eddy Miguel Castellanos, 74, of Weldon, died in a crash on Highway 58, near Clay Mine Road in the North Edwards area.
The traffic accident occurred around 5:36 a.m. on Jan. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Weldon man was one of two drivers who were involved in the traffic accident.
The vehicles collided in the eastbound Highway 58 due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded and the man was pronounced deceased on scene. The coroner later identified the victim as Eddy Miguel Castellanos.
CHP officials are handling the investigation.
