Deadly Traffic Collision at Business Center Parkway and Avenue K-8
Lancaster, CA (June 29, 2022) – Eddy Perez, a 38-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the area of Business Center Parkway and Avenue K-8.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Lancaster
The Antelope Valley Times News reported Perez was riding a motorcycle heading north on Business Center Parkway. According to the article published online, the violent crash happened when the motorcyclist drove through the intersection at Avenue K-8. Preliminary investigation revealed a Volkswagen drove through the crossing at the same time, and collided with the rider.
The force from the impact resulted in life-threatening injuries to the motorcyclist. Shortly after 4:30 p.m., the victim sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased as Eddy Perez, of Lancaster.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the woman driving the Volkswagen involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal crash at Business Center Parkway and Avenue K-8 in Lancaster.
