Eduardo Carrillo, 29, Injured in Orland Crash on 5 Freeway Near Highway 32
GLENN COUNTY (September 19, 2019) – Two were injured after a traffic collision along the 5 Freeway in Orland Thursday morning.
The incident began when 29-year-old David Stevens was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer south on the 5 Freeway while a 2005 Ford Escape driven by Eduardo Carrillo was going north.
For an unknown reason, the Redding man veered into the oleanders which divided the lanes. In the process, the Explorer rolled over onto the northbound lanes.

California Highway Patrol said the 29-year-old Orland resident then collided with the overturned SUV. The accident took place just south of Highway 32.
According to an article published by The Chico Enterprise-Record, Carrillo suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, Stephens was taken to Enloe Medical Center to be treated for major injuries. The condition of both parties were not immediately available. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
