Edward Casciegna, 50, Killed in Fiery Car Accident Near Claymine Road Friday
North Edwards, CA (January 18, 2021) – A 50-year-old man died following a traffic collision on Highway 58 Friday evening.

The KGET published an article online indicating Edward Casciegna was driving a passenger vehicle on Highway 58. When the Bakersfield man approached the area near Claymine Road, he collided with a big rig and rolled over.
The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 11:10 p.m.
Per local news source, the crash left the passenger vehicle engulfed in flames.
Authorities later confirmed Casciegna suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. It remained unclear whether the man died at the scene or at a hospital.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the big rig.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the deadly car accident in North Edwards.
