Edwin Medina-Corona Killed in Hughson Crash
HUGHSON, Calif. (October 28, 2020) – Edwin Medina-Corona, 21, of Waterford, died Saturday when a driver turned left in front of his motorcycle at East Whitmore Avenue at Baldwin Road.
The motorcycle rider who died was identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal collision took place about 6:25 p.m., on October 24th.
Manjit Kaur Samra, 67, of Turlock, was traveling eastbound on Whitmore Avenue in a 2000 Toyota when the driver failed to yield right of way to the approaching motorcycle driven by Medina-Corona. The Toyota turned left onto Baldwin Road in front of the 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle.
The Kawasaki motorcycle crashed into the right, rear of the Toyota and its rider was ejected, police said.
As a result of the collision, Medina-Corona was ejected onto the roadway.
Fatal Hughson Motorcycle Accident
Sadly, Edwin Medina-Corona was pronounced dead at the scene. Liability for the fatal crash will be determined by police investigating the crash.
