Edwin Osorio Fatal Elk Grove Motorcycle Crash Willard Parkway
ELK GROVE, Calif. (April 23, 2021) – Edwin Osorio, 31, of Elk Grove, died in a motorcycle versus truck accident at Willard Parkway and Blossom Ridge Drive in Elk Grove.
The fatal crash happened about 3:47 p.m. on April 14th, according to the Elk Grove Police Department. The motorcycle rider was heading northbound on Willard Parkway when he allegedly drove through a red traffic light and crashed into the side of a westbound truck.
Authorities responded with paramedics to the crash scene involving the motorcycle and truck. The rider was thrown off the bike and landed on his head and was reportedly not wearing a helmet.
Medical personnel transported the rider to Kaiser South where he later died of his injuries.
He was later identified by the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
Meanwhile, the truck driver stopped and cooperated with authorities and the crash investigation.
