Meza Trapped, Extricated Before Taken to Hospital
CABAZON, Riverside County (July 18, 2016) – 51-year-old Efrain Meza suffered injuries as a result of a collision on the eastbound Interstate 10 freeway near Main Street, according to an article by KMIR.
The accident happened on July 18, Monday at around 1:30 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned Meza was driving in a Ford Expedition. Then suddenly, it collided with the rear-end of a 2002 Freightliner. The force from the impact resulted in the Ford suffering in major damage which trapped Meza inside the vehicle.
Responding paramedics successfully extricated Meza at around 2:00 p.m. Then, he was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No immediate information was provided on the truck driver.
