2 Hospitalized After Crash Near 16th Street
Egger Highlands, CA (October 22, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Palm Avenue Wednesday evening.
Motorcycle Hits Pedestrian on Palm Avenue in Egger Highlands
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, and FOX5, a person riding a 2003 Harley Davidson struck a man crossing the street in the Egger Highlands neighborhood. The article published online mentioned the crash took place near 16th Street at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Emergency crews later responded to the crash site and found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the victim to a hospital, where doctors said his injuries were considered life-threatening.
Authorities added the force from the impact ejected the rider, a 54-year-old man, off his motorbike. The man ended up slid under a fence. Medical personnel also transported the motorcyclist to a hospital; for treatment of multiple abrasions, a broken arm and a broken leg.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the pedestrian accident that happened on Palm Avenue in Egger Highlands.
