Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident at Greenfield Drive and Ballantyne Street
EL CAJON, Calif. (October 21, 2021) – An El Cajon bicycle accident on Greenfield Drive happened Wednesday afternoon at Ballantyne Street.
The bicyclist suffered minor injuries in the 5:15 p.m. collision with a driver in a white Hyundai Sonata, the California Highway Patrol said.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this time, but police are investigating, the report said.
Minor Injury Bicycle Accident at El Cajon Intersection
The report stated paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured rider. However, it’s unknown if the minor injuries warranted a trip to the hospital or not.
There is no further information provided in the CHP report at this time, new reports said.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine fault for the El Cajon bicycle accident.
