Bicyclist Hit by Car at Hillside and Jamacha Roads in El Cajon
EL CAJON (March 16, 2018) – A bicycle accident took place at the intersection of Hillside and Jamacha roads Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
At 3:05 p.m. today, the CHP logged a traffic collision involving a bicyclist who was hit in the area by a vehicle of unspecified built and type.

First responders at the scene described the bicycle rider as a juvenile. The name of the cyclist, and their condition following the incident were not immediately discussed.
Officials said the motorist who struck the bicyclist remained at the scene after the incident.
Primary reports indicated that the local fire department personnel were on scene to attend to the cyclist involved. Investigation on the exact cause of the crash is still ongoing.
